ABOUT CODE 3 SEARCH AND RESCUE

Code 3 Search and Rescue is a dedicated volunteer-based organization committed to providing rapid, professional, and compassionate search and rescue services during times of crisis. Our team specializes in assisting local authorities, emergency management agencies, and communities in locating missing persons, supporting disaster response operations, and conducting recovery missions.

Our members are trained in a wide range of disciplines, including ground search techniques, water search and recovery, incident command systems, and emergency medical response.

At Code 3 Search and Rescue, safety, coordination, and professionalism are at the core of every mission. We utilize advanced equipment, effective communication systems, and structured operational planning to ensure efficient and successful outcomes in the field.

Beyond search operations, we are committed to supporting families during difficult times by providing compassionate communication and liaison services throughout the search process.

News and Updates

  • March 2026 Training Code 3 Search and Rescue had the opportunity to train with Craig Caudill, an instructor from Nature Reliance School (NRS). The course covered essential skills, including man-tracking, wilderness survival, and land navigation. We are immensely grateful for the expertise and training we received, which will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities in the field.
  • February 2026 Code 3 Search and Rescue had the incredible opportunity to attend the Helicopters for Heroes Event in Ennis, Texas! Our team worked alongside SITREP Foundation, providing support for helicopter landing zones, assisted in transporting veterans to and from their flights, and helped manage the Tactical Operations Center (TOC)
  • January 2026 and February 2026, Code 3 Search and Rescue deployed to Chicago to continue the search for Dan Davis, who has been missing since November 26, 2025. Our extensive initial search that covered over 20 miles of wooded areas, shorelines, and railroad tracks. Despite our thorough efforts, Dan remained missing. This case is being handled by the Chicago Police Department's Special Victims Unit. As of March 2026 Dan Davis has been located.

Matthew 25: Ministries and Code 3 Search and Rescue Join Forces for Disaster Response.

By combining Matthew 25: Ministries’ extensive experience in disaster relief with Code 3 Search and Rescue’s expertise in search, rescue, and emergency response, the two organizations can join forces on deployments to ensure affected communities receive immediate life-saving services and essential post-disaster assistance, while maintaining additional services and programs unique to each organization.
