- Prevent and Treat Cold Weather Injuries
- Identify Natural Hazards
- Prevent and Treat Fatigue
- Use a compass
- Conduct Actions if lost
- Conduct a Phone Alert
Advanced Training Level 3 Class
- IS - 100 Required to have prior to class
- IS - 700 Required to have prior to class
- CPR Required to have prior to class
- Basic Communications Procedures for ES
- Employ Scanning Techniques while on foot
- Move as part of a Search Line
- Communicate to other members while in a Search Line
- Use whistle signals
- Conduct attraction technique
- Identify Missing Person Search Clues
- Mark a Route
- Conduct individual actions on locating a clue
- Conduct individual actions on find
- Participate in a hasty search
- Demonstrate the ability to keep a log
