SARTOPO Training

SARTOPO Training

Date: Saturday April 8th 2023

Time: 0900 hours

Location: 233 S Main St Monroe OH 45050

SARTOPO is a widely-used, collaborative online and offline mapping tool for use in Search and Rescue. Topics covered will from range from the ability to print maps for planning a training or at a mission, to assisting in base as a technician (example processing GPS tracks or recording clues), to using SARTOPO for Search and Rescue planning and operations tasks, either on-scene or for remote support. Hands-on exercise will develop mapping data to support a mock search and rescue mission from inception into the second-operational period.

At least 5 members of our team will be attending SARTOPO Training. We will be training other members of Code 3 Search and Rescue when we return from SARTOPO Training.
